While in Vegas the Motorhome Diaries had a chance to sit down with Alongside Night author J. Neil Schulman and talk about Agorism, counter-economics and advancing toward a voluntary society. When trekking from Vegas to LA we decided to spend some time out in the sticks — in the Mojave Desert to be exact. There, we not only had the best meal of our project thus far (thanks to grillmaster Adam Mueller), but went on a hike and discussed some of the finer points of why we’re doing what we’re doing.

Too much video content, too little time… thanks to Pete for tirelessly editing video from our encounters with some great libertarians across the country. The thing is, we have a lot more unpublished video from Vegas and the rest of the country. I’m told patience is a virtue but I’m skeptical.

Taking a cue from a couple of our earlier videos (Girls Just Want to Have Fun? and Bohemian Rhapsody (M.A.R.V. Remix)) the Motorhome Diaries shares their musical talent with the world while rocking out to some Rage Against the Machine while cruising the mean streets of Sin City.

We also had the opportunity to hang out with Joshua Lilly while in Las Vegas. We were fortunate to meet his family and be treated to a ride on the infamous roller coaster at the New York New York Hotel & Casino, where he works. Joshua is not only a friendly, stand-up guy but a Free Talk Live listener and entrepreneur advancing the voluntary society, hopefully soon in New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project.

We previously promised “Tons of Stellar Content from Vegas Soon to be Posted” and discussed our meetup, posted interviews with Joe Sacco and members of the Nevada Policy Research Institute. We also had a Vegas Cop tell us that “I Can Do Whatever I Want To Do.”

Just wanted to give y’all a quick update — right now we’re sitting in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Vegas about to head toward LA. We’ve had a really awesome time here in Sin City interacting with other fans of freedom including those from the Nevada Policy Research Institute, Anarchy Cafe and Food Not Bombs as well as those involved with Alongside Night. And we even got hooked up with a ride on the roller coaster at New York New York!

Tonight we’re going to drive a couple of hours and work, grill and crash in the desert, which we’ll get some good content that we captured here in Vegas up shortly.

Motorhome Diaries sat down with Joe Sacco from Las Vegas, NV. Joe is a local activist who is involved with Food not Bombs and the Forgotten Voice. Both groups are involved with helping the homeless without using the force of government, with which Joe has had first-hand experience.
