Alexander McCobin on Students For Liberty

TWIN CITIES, MN – Back in June when the crew of the Motorhome Diaries was in Washington, DC we had the opportunity to interview many of the leaders of the libertarian movement including, Bob Ewing and Bob McNamara of The Institute for Justice, David Boaz of the Cato Institute, Steve Silverman of Flex Your Rights. Nick Gillespie and Radley Balko of Reason, Tom Palmer and Brad Lips of the Atlas Foundation as well as John Tate of the Campaign for Liberty.

Another emerging leader is Alexander McCobin who, with many other students and recent graduates, started Students For Liberty. Their mission is to “provide a unified, student-driven forum of support for students and student organizations dedicated to liberty.”

And, based on Pete and my interactions with the organization and the bright students they are attracting, I think they are doing a heck of a job. If you’re a student of liberty (regardless of your age) you should check out one of their conferences to meet others who are passionate about liberty and to learn from leaders of liberty:
