Peter Schiff on his candidacy for the U.S. Senate
BLACKWELL. OKLAHOMA – Last Thursday (September 17th) Peter Schiff officially announced his intention to run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Christopher Dodd. Back in July we had the opportunity to talk to Schiff about his upcoming campaign for the U.S. Senate and the immorality of taxation in addition to his knowledge of Austrian economics.
We previously released the first part of our interview with Peter Schiff where he discusses his father, the tax protester Irwin Schiff (watch it below). It resonated with a lot of people and is currently our most watched video with over 10,000 views. Peter was nice enough to talk to us in his brokerage firm, Euro Pacific Capital in Darien, CT. Before dipping his toes in political waters Schiff was most well known for making correct predictions about the failing economy. A failing economy that is due in large part to the fiscal policies of Senator Chris Dodd, Schiff’s potential rival if he wins the Republican primary election.
