My MHD Debrief: By Adam Mueller

As you may have heard, I’m back home in Jackson, WI. I returned for a few reasons: To allow for other fellow travelers to board MARV and share in the MHD experience (Welcome Ryan Maddox); MHD will be heading into Canada soon and I didn’t want to pay the State for a passport; I needed to get back to work playing poker, as I have pretty much taken the last two plus months off. The plan right now is that I will be home until MARV scoops me up when rolling through Wisconsin then we’ll head to Jones County for our Sept. 10th trial date.

With that update out of the way I wanted to reflect on my trip as a fellow traveler of MHD. It was by far one of the best experiences of my life.

When I left Wisconsin that Easter Sunday I had no idea what to expect. I had stopped associating with political labels but at that time I guess I could be grouped into the extremely limited government camp, even though I was morally against the ideals of a limited government due to the fact that they (government) use force against others. For me freedom has always been common sense. Oh and did I forget to mention that I had never met Jason or Pete prior to this? We exchanged two emails and a couple of phone calls before I moved into MARV. It didn’t take long to see that all three of us would get along just fine. In my first 24 hours we had confronted some Chicago Police and Transit officers and did a story on a gas station called Terror Free Oil. I knew then that I was in the right place.

I don’t know what to say about all the people that I have met in this journey. The words that come to mind most are amazing and awesome. It was surreal to travel the country and help document and share the many different ways people are choosing to stand up for their rights. From the Liberty on the Rocks groups to the Freedom Phoenix’s workshop, Free Talk Live to Patriot Raido, Campaign for Liberty to Flex Your Rights, FreeKeene.com to Friends for Fullerton’s Future.com. All these groups and many, many others do a great job in advancing the freedom movement. But when impressive comes to mind the folks that stand out are all the people that have helped out MHD – we’d never be able to do what we do without the help from all of you. Those who have allowed us to park MARV on their property and us in their homes to use their Internet, wash our clothes and take showers. Those that covered our dinner/drinks, gave us donations, gym passes, helped with meetups and so much more. A very big, heartfelt thank you goes out to all of you.

I would also like to thank Jason and Pete for giving me the opportunity to be a part of MHD. I don’t think it could of worked out any better for me. You allowed me to live in your home, travel the country and be part of MHD, which was extremely educational for me. I am looking forward to getting back on board and even more so in joining you and others in Keene, NH in the near future. I am glad that you guys turned out to be the stand up guys I heard you were and that you never held me to the “I would do anything to tag along” part of the deal.

I would also like to thank my family – especially my mom, Kathy and brother, Matt – who did a great deal for me while on the road. They may not understand my views completely but they always supported me. Thanks again.

I’ll see you guys soon. Keep kicking ass for liberty, I’ll be watching.

-Adam

  1. Thanks for being part of the crew, you added a different view and a different experience than Pete or Jason had, and I think it really adds something to the message. It was a pleasure to meet you in Charlotte, and ahd a great time hanging out it Porc Fest, you will be missed and I look forward to you joining back up with the MHD in the future. I wish you many Royal Flushes.

  3. Jason: do you play online as your job?
If so that’s cool. Myself, I’m doing something kinda similiar, I’m a day-trader on the stock-market.

Hope you make a lot money!

  4. Oops I meant to put Adam not Jason, lol…
