MARV’s New Look
Even before we hit the road we planned on decorating our RV, known as MARV. Since we’d be criss-crossing the country and interacting with lots of folks we figured it’d make sense to transform MARV a rolling billboard for liberty. That’s why, over the past couple of weeks, we’ve asked for your input on this process (here and here).
We’ve considered various options (i.e. full graphic wrap like a bus, tagged, etc.) but ultimately, because we’re on a tight budget, we decided to paint MARV ourselves. And we finished that step this morning in the backyard of our friend’s place in Birmingham, AL.
Check out the finished product below and to see more pics of MARV’s transformation check out this photo album on our Facebook Fan Page. Many thanks to fellow traveler Allison Gibbs for helping the MHD crew make this happen.
Next step: get big graphics made with our logos and those of our sponsors added and tint the windows.

Bee colors!
SWEET! Maybe you can have this painted on as your new logo: http://tinyurl.com/qwgut3
The colors of Voluntaryism and Agorism. Gold for sound money, black for black markets.
You guys painted MARV, it’s also possible to tint the windows yourself and you can do it on the cheap. It’s not usually as good quality and will peel after a while, but you can do it a few times for the cost of professional tinting.
Good thing you left off the “I love the Constitution” sticker so they can’t tell you are terrorists! Don’t want to be bailing you of every podunk County in Amerika with a talking dog!
This turned out a lot better than I imagined it would. You guys will be seen coming from miles. Well done!
Awesome! Voluntaryist flag on wheels.
This is so fucking amazing.
Now that I think of it, you should look into throwing a whistle tip up in MARV’s exhaust.
That looks really sweet. Good work, guys!
Nice, Free Talk Live color logo already.
All it needs is a rattlesnake.
Thanks y’all, we’re all happy with how it turned out.
Laur, not too sure about the whistle tip as one of us is often sleeping while we’re driving MARV. Personally I’d rather have a loud stereo:)
MARV looks great. You guys should paint some liberty oriented stencils on the yellow by the door displaying your accomplishments. Here are some possible markings: refusing to show ID, declining police searches, black market transactions, months without paying feds taxes, converts to volunaryism/agorism, FSP recruits, FIJA outreaches, video taping cops. I’m sure there are some better metrics that I haven’t thought of. And the creative among us could make some instantly recognizable symbols.
Nice transformation, looks great!
Bless you all, land of the free and the brave and you really need to be brave to be free and you all are.

To go along with what Gorbash91 said, you might make a stencil of handcuffs for arrests. You could start a tally on the back bumper. I just hope it doesn’t go over 3.
VERY nice!
Wow, it turned out great!! How many cans of spray paint were required? I’m guessing at least 20.. phew!
Cynthia you’re right on — we used about 13 cans of gold/yellow and 7 of black. If we had to do it again we would likely roll on the paint as we did the primer. That was pretty easy and looked pretty solid.
I’m with KBCraig, MARV needs a rattlesnake.
I’d love to see the Don’t Tread on Me slogan and snake. The bigger, the better.
I could probably sponsor this through Gadsden.info to pay for the paint, sticker, wrap, or whatever. E-mail or call me.
P.S. I love Gorbash91’s idea above. Very clever.
