I dont really know what you guys are about but I can say im from Jones County, MS and our Sheriffs department thinks they are God this kind of stuff happens on a daily basis to Jones Co. residents

I empathize with you guys, however, to play devil’s advocate for a second, you have got to realize that exchanges such as this:

will put you on the wrong side of the officer’s good graces, every time.

Welcome to Jones county. We take pride in our sheriff’s department and the work they do. While they seren’t perfect, they are working very hard to keep drugs off the streets and riff raff from transporting into or through our count. They are a respected part of our community. If you don’t like it, stay out of Jones county.

sir . i have lived in jones county ms all my life. that being told, where you were stopped, was inside the city limits of laurel,ms . it is WET aka beer legal to have . except for open container in vehicle. it disturbs me greatly when i see the county law on an interstate highway. our crime is rampant in the rual areas where they were elected to PROTECT AND SERVE. again i am sorry for the bad treatment.
