Jones County Resident Seeks Justice for his Son
NEW ORLEANS, LA – The residents of Jones County showed their support for MHD in our pursuit to hold the Jones County Sheriffs (JCS) officers accountable. Some of these folks wanted to tell us their encounter with JCS. This video is about a couple, Larry and Brenda Blakeney, who’s son is serving a life sentence for murder,they say he didn’t commit. Again, like I had stated in my day in review post, MHD has no opinion of weather or not this man is innocent or guilty. We are helping a victim of the JCS get his word out in the hope that justice can prevail.
In this video Larry talks about the lack of evidence collected at the scene, the mistreatment of his son while in the custody of JCS, the leading interrogation process and not so fair trial. He goes on to state other facts that were not heard in court and states they could possibly clear his son’s name. He has devoted three years of his own time and money, while his son remains in a cage, and would just like a fair honest trial.

This case is a Life lesson. If you truly are not guilty, NEVER CONFESS to the crime. I read the Appeals record and I’m sorry to say that had I been on the jury I would have voted to convict. Blakeney’s father is indenial and using faulty logic in thinking his son not guilty. In his video he says that 0530 to 0700 isn’t enough time for him to commit the murders and drive back to LA. What he is not taking into account is the murders were done hours earlier and 0530 was when they were discovered by the Trooper. The Sheriffs Office in Jones CO may in fact be abusive in other cases, but that doesn’t make Blakeney not guilty.
I WAS WONDERING IF THE MHD CREW EVER GOT JUSTICE HERE IN THE CESPOOL OF JONES COUNTY.THE ICON FOR A TOWN U SHOULD NEVER HAVE 2 BE IN IF U DON’T HAVE 2 BE. WHERE PEOPLE CRINGE WHEN THE SEE A POLICE CAR. YALL KNOW THE ONE.
