Jones County Here We Come!

BOSTON, MA – Jason, Ryan and I are sitting in a Starbucks hammering out our upcoming itinerary. As was done in the past, we are using Google Calendar and Google Maps to help ensure our route offers the most potential possible. We first plot those events that we know we have to make (i.e. Porc Fest in late June in Lancaster, NH, Liberty Summer Seminar in late July in Orono, Ontario, etc.) and it’s one such event that’s the impetus for this post – MHD’s return to Jones County, MS.

When we were released from their cage thanks to the support of freedom fighters around the county we were told we’d have to make a plea against the charges leveled against us on June 24th. Fortunately, our legal team was able to plead for us – NOT GUILTY – in absentee.

Next up? Our court date has been set for September 10th.

Stay tuned for more on this. And if you live in/around Jones County and want to join us on the 10th we’d very much appreciate the support.

    I don’t have much vacation time left at work, I spend most of it at PorcFest, but I’ll try and make it down. Jones Co is about 6 hours away. What time is the trial. If it’s in the afternoon I might be able to make a (very long) day trip out of it.

    Planning on bringing the firetoad squad of the beer and bbq militia on a road trip out to Jones County. Gonna bring LOTS of BEER AND – gonna tell Officer Doolittle his retarded and drug dog (named often wrong?) can go jump in the lake. So, hopefully we can hear the proceedings from INSIDE the jail! :)

    I bet you anything, they will offer you a deal, and will drop all charges if you agree not to sue them. This will happen WAY before the 10th of September.

    Thanks for the mssg Stinky; it’d be great to see you and your crew. I should give a full disclaimer though: we’re told by our legal team that we (MHD crew) won’t take the stand in this proceeding but those from the Jones County Sheriff’s Department will.
