The crew of the Motorhome Diaries was able to visit with one of our biggest supporters when we returned to Jones County to hold the Sheriff’s deputies accountable for their crimes – Jil Wright. Jil had been helping to fill our gas tank before we were kidnapped, put in chains and locked in a cage in her home county on May 14th. Like the other residents of Jones County that we met, Jill is a super-kind person who deserves a much better protection agency than Alex Hodge’s sheriff’s department.

Back in May, shortly after Adam, Pete and I were assaulted by men with badges, I was able to interview Allison Gibbs on her role in springing us.

These two women deserve a great amount of credit in raising money and awareness to get us out of jail so we could hold the real criminals accountable – something we’re actively working on. They and the many folks that stood in solidarity with them that night on our behalf helped demonstrate just how supportive the freedom community really is. Thanks for having our back. We have yours.
