Reason’s Nick Gillespie talks to MHD about the Libertarian Moment

When rolling through Washington, DC I had the opportunity to visit Reason HQ and talk to Nick Gillespie. He currently runs Reason.TV after a long stint as the Editor-In-Chief of Reason, the most-highly circulated libertarian magazine and one of the most-visited blogs around (Hit & Run).
In part 1 Nick discusses his disappointment that tragedy hadn’t befallen the crew of the Motorhome Diaries. We discuss his long running involvement with Reason Magazine and the direction he took the magazine in. Nick also discusses why, despite setbacks, he feels this is the “libertarian moment.”
In part 2 Nick discusses life as art and why the Motorhome Diaries is “an incredible instantiation of freedom and liberty.” He discusses the future of liberty and why he advocates the growing use of video.
More on Nick Gillespie here.
Before our “search for freedom in America” even began, Nick was kind enough to interview us for Reason.TV.
Bonus: Mark Rippetoe, a libertarian gym owner in Wichita Falls, TX spoke to MHD about why he believes Reason Magazine makes for great bathroom reading.

Nick Gillespie is the shit.
Is Gillespie a minarchist or ananarchist?
*an anarchist?* Seems to be a lot of statists (albeit minimal ones) at Reason.
