Free State Project Money Bomb
MANKATO, MN – Tomorrow (Thursday, October 1st) is the Free State Project’s (FSP) money bomb. Their goal – to raise $20,000. For those unfamiliar with the FSP the organization is basically a vehicle to get freedom-oriented activists to concentrate in one geographical area (New Hampshire was chosen due to it’s relatively low tax burden, economic growth, pervasive live-and-let-live attitude and safe and supportive environment in which to raise a family. For more head over to the NH Information Center which catalogs such accolades). Basically it’s pretty simple – NH is probably the best foundation we who advocate for a voluntary society have. A place where we can support each other and actually have an impact to achieve liberty in our lifetime.
As many of y’all know Jason, Adam and myself are all FSP members (which means we’ve signed their Statement of Intent):
I hereby state my solemn intent to move to the state of New Hampshire. Once there, I will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of civil government is the protection of life, liberty, and property.
But, back to the FSP money bomb – if you’re reading this chances are you believe in freedom – that individuals should be free to act so long as they don’t initiate force against someone else. The folks involved with the FSP don’t just espouse this believe but live it. If you can spare a few bucks to help them out, do so. And, if you’re someone who favors commodity-backed currency know that for each $100 donation you make you’ll receive an ounce of silver w/ the FSP logo and slogan.
