AMES, IA – A few months back, just prior to our denial of entry into Canada, we had the great pleasure of stopping by the Foundation for Economic Education just north of NYC. I’ve long been a fan of FEE and last summer was fortunate to attend their Advanced Austrian seminar that included lectures from Austrian economics all-stars like Pete Boettke, Pete Leeson (see our vid with Leeson), Steve Horwitz (see our vid with Horwitz), Isreal Kirzner, Lawrence White and others so was excited when I learned that MHD would be able to stop by.

While at FEE, in addition to sitting down with FEE president Larry Reed and Steve Horwitz, we were given a tour of the FEE property by Wayne Olson, current chairman of FEE’s Board of the Trustees. In this video, Wayne details the founding, mission, strategy and tactics utilized by FEE to spread the ideas of liberty. As is clear, FEE is a very important institution in the freedom movement and has for over six decades been advancing the ideas of liberty through a number of tactics. What has never changed, however, is their utilization of person-to-person communication and the morality-based logic of Austrian economics to counter the threats presented by collectivism.
