Dorian Electra & Daniel Cuervo Enjoy Gumbo, Guitars & Guns

While at the Houston meetup we met a couple of  high school juniors who recently landed fellowships with the Students for Liberty. In between servings of gumbo, listening to sweet guitar riffs and shooting loud guns, I sat down with Dorian and Daniel for a nice chat. You’ll want to watch until the end.

    LOL! just saw your motorhome pass me while stuck in sat afternoon traffic on NY ave/rte 50. pretty cool idea. too bad you’re trying to resurrect a dead political philosophy. if you want conservatism you should move to Iran. Otherwise get used to Liberals running this great nation.

    Chris, good to hear from you and thanks for taking the time to check out our site.

    It’s true, libertarianism may not be the most popular political philosophy around in terms of the number of folks that self-describe to falling into its ranks, but that’s no reason to give up. For me personally, exposing people to these ideas is half the battle.

    I trust in people, that they’ll recognize these ideas as being correct as they’re the most peaceful, rights-respecting and prosperity-creating.

    There’s a reason libertarianism is omitted or belittled in government schools as it encourages people to think for themselves and not rely on conservatives or liberals that claim a legitimacy of the use of force through the State. Fortunately, with the Internet and other mediums we’ve been able to bypass the traditional gatekeepers of information and reach people, and they are starting to wake up.

    And that’s what we’re trying to do with Motorhome Diaries – reach individuals and get them to grow their affinity for freedom and responsibility.
