The reason the officer said
“Are you calling my dog a liar”
is because the guy recognized the fallacy of “drug dogs” and
how they are used so commonly to circumvent the 4th amendment.
The truth stings.
Buy why has no lawyer challenged this charade in court.
That’s the question.

The real injustice here, is the fact that dragging a dog over to a car and pretending to understand that dogs facial expressions (ala Officer Doolittle) is sufficient probable cause to warrant the thousands of Un Constitutional vehicle searches that occur every day in this Country. I believe the quote from officer doolittle was “Are you calling my dog a liar?” NO ONE is keeping track of the thousands of times our rights are violated by a drug dog and NOTHING IS FOUND!

Although Ron Paul got 5% average of the vote in the 2008 Mississippi primary election. He received 9% in Jones County, almost double the state average and one of the highest percentages in the state. I do not agree with the way motorhomediaries was treated, but I want the record straight. There are many Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr, Libertarian and Constitutional Party supporters in Jones County and growing everyday. I welcome all the guys at motorhomediaries back to the “Free State of Jones” anytime. The treatment received is not representative of the good people of Jones County. The law enforcement does have a reputation for not being tolerant of people “standing up” for their rights. Good luck with the lawsuit, I don’t see how y’all will lose that one.

if only to be a bug on the wall of Hodge’s office as he deals with what the thugs thought was just going to be another morning of local harassment and bullying into a national affair. I would love to hear his private realizations and reactions. Probably going something like this…”Ahhhh (insert expletive here)!”

also, you guys had mentioned you were going outfit MARV with cameras. Can you post updates on that as you go? I am thinking of doing something similar as I drive home late at night from the restaurant on city, freeway, and country roads during prime drunk driving hours and am just waiting to be pulled over. My rocket box has many Libertarian stickers and revolution in a box stickers on it that any law enforcement officer would see approaching my car. I am thinking about putting something in my rocketbox for a 360 degree view just about head level. So anything you guys find and setup would be very helpful!

I just wanted to add that Carlos Miller’s blog at Carlosmiller.com also did a story on what happened to you guys. I know it would take too long to find every single blog that reported on what happened to you guys. I just think it was worth noting since he not only reported on you guys but also on Sam’s imprisonment. Take care.
