Back (Home) in Keene, NH!

Right now I’m sitting at Leon’s Auto Center in Keene, NH getting MARV his second oil change since we hit the road (the first being in Denver just before we crossed the Rockies), Jason is about a mile away at a laundromat taking care of our dirty clothes/bedding and Adam is at the local Starbucks putting the finishing touches on the graphics for those organizations that chose to step-up to be a first round sponsor of the Motorhome Diaries.
In ten weeks since we left DC we’ve gone just over 10,000 miles and have connected with a ton of awesome people. In just the past half-week we’ve had an excellent meetups in Philly and NYC (more on NYC in an upcoming post) and yesterday arrived in Keene (in time for the weekly Social Sunday), which Jason and I are calling home and where hopefully in the near future Adam and many of y’all join us (for more on the reason why check out the 111+ Reasons to Move to Keene).
While at Vendetta, the local bar where Social Sunday is held, we saw many old friends and met many more for the first time in person, including Ryan Maddox (pictured below), who, a week ago, flew from Anchorage to Manchester, NH then took a Greyhound to Keene, with only a hiking backpack filled with his gear. And he knew not a single individual in Keene prior to his arrival. Kudos to you bud!

We’ll be here the next couple of days editing videos, doing interviews and getting our presentation squared away for our session at Porc Fest, then will caravan with some other Free Staters up to Lancaster for the long weekend. If you can’t join us there in person, check this site, Free Talk Live and Free Minds TV, all of which should be churning out some stellar content from the event. We will, of course, be taking video of the event.
Also, on a not-so-cool note, during a massive rain storm recently we discovered a drips of water running down the wall of my closet where I hang my t-shirts. To save money we’re going to attempt to fix this ourselves, perhaps with some knowledge from Kevin Dean who, prior to his move to NH, is retrofitting a RV he and his wife recently purchased. More on this later…
Well, about time to pick up Jason and Adam and head over to the Liberty Bunker – a double duplex that’s home to the most Free Staters under one roof in the whole state, including Ryan Maddox – and have dinner with Anarcho Jesse and his girl Shaunna Nash, who just moved here from NV three weeks ago.

Nice job, guys. Missed you at Ridley’s trial today – none of the audience full of activists stood for the judge. (Only one man in the audience, that we didn’t recognize, stood up.)
Congratulations, YOU SUCK!
(That is my traditional greeting for those who move to NH before I can make it there.)
Save me a spot, and don’t use up all the good activism before I get there!
